Review Workspace
Current Shopify content, proposed draft content, internal review notes, content readiness metrics, and optional AI-generated suggestions live inside CommerceGov.
Shopify catalog content governance control plane for large catalogs across multiple shops.
CommerceGov is the gate between existing Shopify product content and proposed new content. Product updates are staged inside CommerceGov, reviewed by a human, approved by an authorized user, and applied to Shopify only through explicit worker-mediated Apply.
AI suggests. Humans approve. Workers apply. Audit records.
Controlled demos and pilot requests use the supervised pilot intake. No public self-serve writeback sandbox is exposed from the homepage.
CommerceGov stages SKU content changes outside Shopify production. Operators can save draft content, save review notes, inspect SKU-level SEO/GEO/content readiness metrics, and prepare approved candidates without publishing anything to Shopify.

Approve marks reviewed SKU content as eligible for production. It does not mutate Shopify and does not publish AI-generated content.
Only an authorized user can Apply approved content. Apply creates a command, runs worker-only writeback, and records audit ledger evidence.

Active → Review → Approved → Applied → Shopify writeback, with the same governed loop for one SKU or many SKUs.
CommerceGov records what was reviewed, what was approved, what was applied, who approved it, what changed, and what evidence exists after writeback.
Command evidence, approval state, worker execution, Shopify writeback result, and mutation history.
Catalog movement across imports, exports, edits, approvals, applies, archives, and restored products.
Title, description, metadata, product data shape, review blockers, and readiness signals.
SKU-level content signals for search readiness, AI-answer readiness, metadata quality, and completeness.
Variant-aware product context remains visible during review so operators can govern SKU content without losing product structure.
The same governance loop controls one SKU or many SKUs: review, approve, apply, writeback, and audit.

CommerceGov is free for this Shopify App Store public-review build. No in-app merchant charges, no payment card collection, no paid plans, no subscriptions, and no payment flow are exposed on public install surfaces.
AI generation is optional and user-initiated. Generated text is saved only as draft content inside CommerceGov and must be reviewed, approved, and explicitly applied before it can reach Shopify.
Governed writebacks require explicit human approval and worker-mediated execution — not autonomous storefront publishing.
